The simple ground rules for working together on your roof.

Estimates

Quotes and estimates we provide before work begins are good-faith pricing based on what we can see at the time of inspection. They are non-binding until both parties sign a written contract. If conditions on the roof or deck differ materially from what we could observe, we'll talk it through before any change in scope or price.

Workmanship warranty

Every full-system roof we install carries a 10-year workmanship warranty covering our installation. Manufacturer materials carry their own standard warranties — for Owens Corning shingle systems, the standard factory shingle warranty applies. We'll hand you the paperwork on completion.

Change orders

If the job needs to change after work begins — rotten decking, hidden flashing failure, an upgrade you decide on — we'll write it up as a signed change order before we proceed. No surprises on the final invoice.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your contract. We don't collect large deposits before materials are staged, and we don't ask for final payment until you've walked the work with us.

Insurance claims

When we assist with an insurance claim, we work on your behalf — meeting your adjuster on the roof, writing scope, and handling supplements. We don't guarantee any specific carrier outcome.

Governing law

Contracts with Lappin Roofing, LLC are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, including Florida Chapter 489 governing construction contractors. Venue for any dispute is Duval County, Florida.
